Pink Street Party
Thursday, October 4, 2012, Downtown Buffalo, Minnesota
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Buffalo Hospital Foundation illuminates downtown in sparkling pink lights. You can help by sponsoring a string of lights in honor of a breast cancer survivor, in memory of a loved one, or simply in recognition of all those touched by cancer.
"It is incredibly moving when we throw the switch and thousands of pink lights glow in honor of lives touched by cancer," says Karla Heeter, Buffalo Hospital Foundation director. "Nearly everyone can think of someone who has been affected by cancer in some way. The Pink Street Party is a powerful event to recognize them."
